Current Rules (Until December 7, 2024):
Campervans are certified under the existing Blue Certificate rules.

New Rules (From December 7, 2024):
Campervans must be certified under the new Green Certificate rules.

Across our brands Tui Campers and Freedom campers we are excited to announce that we will meet the new Green Certificate standards in 10 different vehicle models that are in our fleet for 2024 and beyond.

How do I know my vehicle will meet the Green Certificate Standards by the time I want to book?

We guarantee that all our self-contained campervans will be upgraded to meet the new rules before the December 7th deadline.

Can I still freedom camp in a vehicle with a blue sticker?

No, under these new regulations you must have a have a Green Sticker to now stay at the freedom campsites. If your vehicle only meets the Blue Certificate Standards than you can still camp with non-self-contained campervans at remote and budget-friendly campsites with basic facilities.

What does the Green Certificate mean and what does it look like?
